Six Overseas Pros Made Bleacher Report's New 2027 Mock, and Dash Daniels Was Plus-16 in a 9-Point Loss
Bleacher Report's first 2027 mock of the college season put six players from overseas pro clubs in its top 60, three in the first round. His Nov. 3 board says NIL now fills round 2 with seniors and internationals. Box scores from the week show where his three first-round internationals stand.

Dash Daniels played 23 minutes against Tasmania on Sunday, scored 7 points and finished plus-16. The Phoenix lost 98-89. In the 17 minutes he sat, South East Melbourne was outscored by 25 (by our count).
That split lands two days before Jonathan Wasserman's new 2027 mock draft at Bleacher Report, published Nov. 3 as the college season tipped. Wasserman wrote that NIL money is keeping sophomores and juniors in school, so the second round "now made up almost entirely of seniors and international players." His board has six players from overseas pro clubs in the top 60, and three of them go in the first round:
- No. 6, Stefan Joksimovic, Baskonia (EuroLeague)
- No. 27, Hugo Yimga-Moukouri, Nanterre 92 (LNB Pro A, Basketball Champions League)
- No. 29, Dash Daniels, South East Melbourne Phoenix (NBL)
- No. 33, Cheickh Niang, Trento (Italy)
- No. 47, Bastien Grasshoff, Le Mans (LNB Pro A)
- No. 48, Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada, ASVEL (EuroLeague)
Dash Daniels, South East Melbourne: Plus-16 in 23 Minutes
Daniels started at John Cain Arena and went 3 of 4 from the field, 1 of 1 from three and 0 of 2 at the line, with four assists, two rebounds and no turnovers. He also picked up five fouls. Per the ESPN box score, no other Phoenix player finished better than plus-3. Two bench players were minus-17 and minus-22.
The rest of the Phoenix shot 6 of 28 from three (by our count) on a night the team went 7 of 29. Daniels took one three and made it. Tasmania led 57-39 at halftime, and the Phoenix won the second half 50-41 but never caught up.
Wasserman slotted Daniels at No. 29 and wrote that he "has looked far more confident and decisive this year," while flagging that he "still looks more like a combo 2-guard than a lead playmaker." The Phoenix fell to 4-6, eighth in the NBL table. Tasmania is 7-3.
Stefan Joksimovic, Baskonia: a new job and an 0-for-4
Last week Joksimovic had 25 points in two EuroLeague games. Then came Round 9 in Villeurbanne on Oct. 30, a 94-79 loss to ASVEL. He played 19:10 and scored 9 on 3 of 4 inside the arc, 0 of 4 from three and 3 of 4 at the line, with three turnovers.
El Correo reported on Nov. 3 that coach Velimir Perasovic has moved the 17-year-old to the point guard and shooting guard spots. Across his last three games Joksimovic has 34 points in 63:03, and he is 5 of 16 from three (by our count).
Wasserman has him at No. 6. His write-up praises the "6'7" size, a creative process, a strong shotmaking record" and then names the risk directly: Joksimovic "could become polarizing if he keeps having trouble getting clean shots off and finding consistency from three."
Baskonia is 1-8 and last in the EuroLeague.
Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada, ASVEL: five minutes on the other bench
The same game had a second prospect in it. Fodzo Dada, a 19-year-old point guard, played 5:17 for ASVEL and scored 2. Wasserman put him at No. 48, describing a quick, physical guard who is "at his best getting downhill" and whose shooting "needs work, but it's functional."
Hugo Yimga-Moukouri, Nanterre: 33 Points in 3 BCL Games
Yimga-Moukouri, 18, sits at No. 27 on Wasserman's board as "a spot-up scorer" whose "6'8" size and shotmaking" project as three-and-D. He had 14 points in 29:40 of Nanterre's 87-80 Basketball Champions League loss at Sabah on Oct. 27, and he has 33 points across three BCL games, per Scoutbasketball's game log. Nanterre is 1-2 in Group A.
Against Rytas on Oct. 13, Nanterre's club report says he scored 9 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter and went 5 of 6 inside the arc. Wasserman wrote that his age will buy him time with scouts.
Next games
- Baskonia at Fenerbahce, EuroLeague Round 10, Thursday, Nov. 5, 19:00 CET.
- Baskonia at Partizan, EuroLeague, Nov. 11.
- Nanterre at Rytas Vilnius, Basketball Champions League, Nov. 11.
By our count: Daniels' bench split is the 98-89 final against his plus-16. South East Melbourne was minus-9 over 40 minutes and plus-16 in his 23, so minus-25 in the other 17. The Phoenix's other three-pointers are the team's 7 of 29 minus Daniels' 1 of 1, which is 6 of 28. Joksimovic's last three EuroLeague games are Round 7 at Panathinaikos (13 points, 19:20, 2 of 6 from three), Round 8 against Real Madrid (12 points, 24:33, 3 of 6) and Round 9 at ASVEL (9 points, 19:10, 0 of 4), for 34 points, 63:03 and 5 of 16.
