She averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists after a 22-and-10 final in USA's 97-79 gold over France.
The average does not look loud until you count the minutes. Stewart led USA in scoring and rebounding across Berlin and logged the most minutes on a roster with nine World Cup debutants. The Italy scare put the rookies in the mud. Stewart was the voice in the locker room that told them the gold path runs through nights that are not pretty. Then she kept answering on the floor. Against Spain she put up 16, 6, and 2. Against France she dropped 22 and 10, the most she has scored in a World Cup final. The award followed the possessions, not a highlight reel average.
Berlin sealed a fourth World Cup gold. Only Sue Bird shares that American club. Stewart is undefeated in 26 World Cup games over 12 years, one short of Uljana Semjonova's 27-game streak from the Soviet era. She also moved past Cheryl Miller for fifth on Team USA's World Cup scoring list. The first TISSOT MVP came in Tenerife in 2018. The second landed in Berlin in 2026. Nobody else has two.

Jackie Young joined her on the All-Star Five after 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists across the tournament and an 18-6-5 final. Gabby Williams made the Five too after 18.7, 4.8, 4.0, and 2.8 steals with a 22.8 efficiency, even as France left with silver. Iyana Martin, 20, took Rising Star and a bronze for Spain on 17.5 points a night. Leonie Fiebich carried host Germany to fourth on 9.9, 8.6, and 3.6. Kara Lawson called it the era of Stewie. The 12.8 line is still on the sheet. The fourth gold and the second MVP are what the room remembers when the WNBA tips back Thursday.
