Dakorien Moore's 62 Yards Break the Autzen Tie

Career-high 378 from Dante Moore. Boise State tied it late. Then the stop-and-go with 7:51 left. Oregon 34-27.

Pause it when Dakorien Moore stops short of the sideline and two Broncos fly past him. That 62-yard catch becomes the lead with 7:51 left, and No. 2 Oregon walks out of Autzen 34-27 over Boise State.

Dante Moore finished 28-of-37 for a career-high 378 yards and three touchdowns. Oregon outgained Boise State 497-274 and still needed that late shot to open 1-0.

Boise State scored on the first series: Maddux Madsen to Cam Bates, 13 yards, after an 11-play, 75-yard drive. Oregon tied it early in the second on Jordon Davison's 1-yard run. Then Evan Stewart muffed a punt, the Broncos recovered, and Madsen hit Sire Gaines for 38 yards on the next snap. Canaan Moore's 29-yard field goal made it 17-7 with 2:48 left in the half. Dante Moore found Jamari Johnson for 27 yards with 19 seconds left before the break, and Autzen was back within three.

Gage Hurych's 26-yarder tied it early in the third. Jeremiah McClellan fought through a tackle for an 8-yard touchdown and the first Oregon lead. Madsen answered with a 7-yard score to Matt Wagner, and it was 24-24 going into the fourth. Hurych hit from 44. Canaan Moore answered from 36. Then Dante Moore went deep to Dakorien Moore, who stopped, let the defenders miss, and finished the 62-yard touchdown. Matayo Uiagalelei sacked Madsen on the next Broncos drive. On the last possession Teitum Tuioti and Nasir Wyatt hurried Madsen, and Na'eem Offord broke up the final throw.

Oregon had 10 penalties for 90 yards and gave Boise State fourth-down conversions and a special-teams gift. The Broncos still finished with only 93 rushing yards. Starting Oregon wideouts and the tight end combined for 24 catches, 372 yards, and three scores. Davison and Dierre Hill Jr. ran 22 times for 126 yards and a touchdown. The home nonconference win streak is now 39. Autzen season openers are 16 straight. Next is Oklahoma State on the road.

This comes after the 2024 Autzen meeting, when Oregon trailed at the half and won 37-34 on a field goal as time expired. Same visitor. Same early hole. Same night that asks whether a No. 2 ranking holds when the script turns sideways.

The take is the stop-and-go from Dakorien Moore. Autzen already knew Dante Moore could throw for 378. What mattered was the next-play answer after a 17-7 hole, 10 flags, and a Broncos team that stole the "Shout!" moment before the fourth. Oregon survived. The film will be loud. The W is louder.
