Toronto will raise Lowry's No. 7 on Jan. 10 after the Sixers game, the franchise's second retired number after Carter's 15.
The Raptors announced it Thursday. Postgame at Scotiabank Arena. Hometown on the floor. Last two-plus seasons in that other jersey. Nurse, the 2019 title coach, will be standing on the Philly sideline while Toronto hangs the number they ran together.

He signed a one-day contract July 7 (7/7, a nod to the number) and retired after 20 seasons, nine of them in Toronto. Six-time All-Star. Franchise leader in assists, steals, and threes made. 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists over 1,187 games. 2,209 threes, 14th all-time. Villanova already took No. 1 in February 2020.
